Here are some links which take you to good websites about what you can do to prevent and deal with cyberbullying:
 
 
Department for Education Advice for Parents on Cyberbullying:
Think U Know website  - contains safety advice and resources for parents and young people . The site is produced by CEOP (The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) They have links to resources for  SEND.
 
 
The UK Safer Internet Centre - Wide range of resources available for parents / carers including instructions on how to set controls on mobile phones ,laptops/PCs ,  games consoles, the internet  Facebook and other social media networks etc.
 
 
 
Kidsmart  -an award winning internet safety programme for children.
 
 
Childnet - advice and information for parents / carers. Games , videos and stories for young people. The site also provides links to other sites and resources and information on reporting concerns.
 
 
Safety4Kids  - information for adults and children. 
 
 
Digizen - a website providing information and advice to encourage responsible digital citizenship. It shares advice and guidance  on preventing and responding to cyberbullying. 
 
 
Google Safety Centre - provides information and step by step guides to using the safety tools on various Google services such as Google search , You Tube , Chrome and Android.
 
 
Microsoft  Family Safety Centre - Provides information and advice for using the internet safely as well as guides to the safety settings on Microsoft products. 
 
 
BT, Sky , Talk Talk , Vodaphone and Virgin Media provide free parental controls that can be activated at any time . Video tutorials on how to download and use these controls are available on the Safer Internet Site.
