In order to protect our whole school community, it is vitally important that if anyone in your household shows symptoms of Covid19, your child does not come in to school. Thank you. Friends of Barndale
As a small school we rely on the help of donations, parents, charities and local businesses to ensure we offer our children the very best here at Barndale.
We have a 'Friends of Barndale' group which is a registered charity, enabling us to receive further grants and funding.
If you would like to be part of the group then please get in touch with the school office to find out more.
Our #busforBarndale Go Fund Me page has just been launched to raise money to replace one of our minibuses. We are hoping to gain funding via a charity for the bus and if we are successful, we will need to raise around £16,000. If, however, we are unable to secure external funding, we will need to raise somewhere in the region of £48,000.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who has donated funds for this cause. A full list of donors can be found on our Go Fund Me page
Please contact Sally Carrigan, our School Manager if you would like to find out more about the #busforBarndale campaign. Thank you
Make Barndale Better
Barndale school is incredibly fortunate to be based in the center of the Alnwick community. The school has grounds around both buildings which have not been developed or utilised for many years.
Some of the site developments we are working on are:
  • Therapy/sensory spaces on our Windsor Garden site
  • A yurt for Thrive and as a reading/library space
  • Improved sports facilities
  • A fit for purpose outdoor play area for our EYFS group
We will be applying for funding to support all these projects but would kindly welcome donations, sponsors or contacts to help us make these happen.
